Drive along the spectacular Atlantic seaboard passing Clifton, Camps Bay, Llundudno and the 12 Apostles mountain range while listening to the untold secrets and wonders of the Cape.
Experience Hout Bay where fishing boats bring in the early morning catch or barter with the locals for art and crafts. An optional 40min boat trip to Duiker Island to observe the Cape Fur Seal colony is a recommended.
We continue over the historical and breathtaking Chapmans Peak Drive over the bay and our journey continues where stunning white beaches are seen. Visit the colony of African Penguins residing in warmer waters and on land far from the Arctic. Enjoy lunch overlooking the bay. Leisure time given for wandering through the shops of Simonstown admiring the Cape Dutch and Victorian architecture or dip your feet into the False Bay waters.
We make our way for the South Western Point of Africa where we enjoy the afternoon at the Cape of Good Hope National Park. Enjoy a walk to the top of the Cape Point lighthouse boasting the freshest air that you will breathe and then a second walk (optional) as you leave your trax on a trail to the most South Western tip of Africa - the Cape of Good Hope enjoying breathtaking scenery of coastline and the famous South African fynbos vegetation.
Fauna that may be spotted include the Chacma baboon, Ostriches, Antelope such as the Eland as well as great mountain or leopard tortoises. And for those interested….more than 250 species of birds can sometimes been seen.
